At the College, learning a language (Italian, Japanese or French) is seen as the gateway to becoming better global citizens with a broader understanding of the world, its people and cultures.

Learning a language enhances learners’ cognitive development using analytical and higher order thinking skills and provides a context for critical thinking, peer work, problem solving and decision-making.

Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things
