Last night we held our ‘2021 Celebration of Academic Achievement Evening’. These prestigious awards acknowledge the outstanding academic achievements of Year 7 to 11 students from 2021. The top 5% of students in each year level were recognised, with one student from each year level announced as the ‘Highest Academic Achiever for 2021’. A highlight of the evening was hearing from our keynote speaker, Vikki Petraitis (Class of 1983). Vikki, a Past Pupil of Distinction nominee, podcaster, true-crime author, teacher and presenter, shared her thoughts with our students about believing in yourself, having the confidence that you can achieve anything and saying ‘yes’ to the things you don’t know how to do! “Take the initiative, grab life and go with it and importantly turn any fears you may have into humour!”
