In the Spotlight

Jas Winter – Class of 2019

One of the biggest shows on television at the moment is “The Voice” and we were beyond excited recently to see yet another past pupil of the College following their dreams and ‘shining’ in the spotlight. On “The Voice”, Jas Winter (Class of 2019) performed a unique interpretation of ‘Runnin’ by Beyonce and received accolades by the judges. She had three chairs turn, Keith Urban, Guy Sebastian and Rita Ora. She chose Guy as her mentor, who spoke highly of her talent and special qualities.

Throughout her time at the College , Jas was a committed Performing Arts student. She took part in School Productions – ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘Hairspray’ and ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’. She was a member of the School Choir, sang at Music Concerts and completed both VCE Drama and VCE Theatre Studies. We will be cheering Jas on as she continues her journey on ‘The Voice’.
