On Tuesday we hosted a Winter Music Gala Evening, where our ensembles and selected vocal soloists performed to a large audience in the Auditorium. Music ranged from art music, traditional folk songs, classic band pieces through to movie themes, power ballads and pop tunes! The spectacular evening coordinated by Ms Kara-Lee Rabbetts was brought to life by so many staff including our Performing Arts Trainee, Ms Georgia McAleer as Stage Manager, Mr Matthew Graham on AV, our Maintenance team and led by our expert tutors and conductors Ms Rebecca Harkin, Mr Marc Law, Mr Joshua Hu, Ms Eugenie Lyons, Mr Bernardo Soler and Ms Jennie Mortimer. We are incredibly proud of our students, in particular their dedication to improving their skills, not just in a performing sense, but also in the management of equipment, presentation and preparation for each showcase. We also thank our parent community for supporting the developing musicians in our program, financially, emotionally and practically, as without your involvement, successful events would not occur!
