During our recent Visual Arts Week, we celebrated all things colourful and creative and provided a platform for students to unleash their artistic talents! These dedicated Learning Area weeks are designed to bring all students together to engage in activities centered around a particular Learning Area. Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of immersive activities, ranging from classic Art techniques like drawing, painting and working with clay, to crafting friendship bracelets. Students enjoyed a Visual Communication Design activity and designed their own unique money boxes. The week also included a Media activity where students experimented with stop-motion animation and ventured into new realms through Virtual Reality headsets. We acknowledge Christine Vaughan, Learning Leader: Visual Arts, Design and Technologies and staff for the enriching week. Next week we will experience Design and Technologies Week.
