VCE VM Showcase

Last night, many months of hard work and dedication culminated in our second VCE VM Showcase, with the first group presenting the week prior. Our VCE Vocational Major students undertake an applied learning program within the VCE designed to give them greater choice and flexibility to pursue their strengths and interests and develop the skills and capabilities needed to succeed in further education, work and life. Over the last two weeks the courage shown by this group at their major projects showcase has been tremendous! Not only did the whole group present in front of their peers, but also to a larger audience made up of family, friends and staff, which is no easy feat for anyone. Each student started their presentations focusing on their individual interests and we had a glimpse into their passions, who inspires them, their interpersonal skills and their vision and path once they graduate. They finished presenting their major projects on topics such as Nursing, Dementia, Photography, Dance and Our Planet. We congratulate not only the students, but also the VCE VM team led by Learning Leader: Applied Learning, Jenny Gamble, who continually encourage our students and provide them with authentic opportunities to showcase their learning.
