Today we paused to commemorate our service men and women, both past and present, who have served their country and many of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice in wars and peacekeeping efforts. We are so grateful for their unwavering bravery, courage and dedication. To begin the morning, our students gathered for a school-wide reflection, providing the opportunity to pause, remember and pay our respects. Later in the morning, our Year 7 to 11 Student Leaders represented the College at the Mentone RSL Service for members of the local community. The Kilbreda Chorale led those gathered in singing the National Anthem.

Dear Lord, We remember those whom you have gathered from the storm of war into the peace of your presence: may that same peace calm our fears; bring justice to all peoples and establish harmony among the nations, through Christ our Lord. Amen
