Year 12

Final Farewells

Once again we come to the final farewell of our Year 12 students, most of whom have been part of the Kilbreda community since Year 7. Last Monday to Wednesday was a wonderful time of celebration. From their Award Assembly, Celebration Day Breakfast and their Graduation Mass and Dinner, there was time for everyone to reflect and remember their time here at Kilbreda.

It has also been lovely to receive affirmations like this from parents about their child’s secondary school experience:

“It’s hard to believe that my daughter’s Kilbreda experience has come to an end. As she is our youngest, it’s also the end of our Kilbreda experience as a family. It is truly a special place, full of caring teachers and staff like yourself. When I first toured the school when my eldest daughter was in grade 5, I was so impressed that the woman doing the tour knew the name of every girl she passed in the hallway and all of the girls we met along the way said “Good Morning” and held open doors. I knew straightaway that Kilbreda was a very caring school community, which at the end of the day, is all that you want as a parent. As my girls went along in their schooling, I saw firsthand that Kilbreda is also a place where there’s something for everyone, academics, sports, creative arts, but even more importantly, it’s a place where being a good person is valued and counts for something.”

Congratulations Class of 2023

Congratulations Class of 2023 on successfully graduating and wishing you all the best in what you pursue from here on in. Your contributions have been a reflection of the values you uphold. Go forth and continue to be young people of Strength and Kindliness.
