Year 11
How quickly the year has flown. The growth in the Year 11 students has been so pleasing. They have taken on new responsibilities with VCE and VCE VM, and engaged with their lessons in a very positive manner. As a cohort they have developed confidence and become more unified, culminating in the Oompa Loompa Brigidine Day act.
Congratulations to those who have been appointed to formal leadership positions for 2026. The ideas and suggestions you presented in your interviews and speeches will ensure that next year will be exciting for all year levels.
With the completion of exams, a new chapter of schooling begins as the Year 12s of 2026. The move into the Atrium has been successful and the kitchen is already being put to good use.
I trust that all students will utilise the time in the Headstart classes to develop a good background to the subjects they have chosen and begin to engage with their learning. Working hard and persevering when things are difficult is something that we will focus on in the year to come. Using their time to establish good study skills and a positive engagement in their classes should enable them to complete their holiday homework and come back to school next year ready to focus and be their very best.
