Year 11

How quickly the year has flown! The growth in the Year 11 students has been so pleasing. They have taken on new responsibilities with VCE and VCE VM engaging with their lessons in a very positive manner. As a cohort they have developed confidence and become more unified over the year, which was evident when they became Minions on Brigidine Day.

Congratulations to those who have been appointed to formal Student Leadership positions for 2024. I am sure that we will continue to support you in your roles.

HeadStart

As the exams finish, a new chapter begins. Next week, we begin the HeadStart program, where our Year 11 students begin their transition to Year 12 students. I trust that all students will utilise the time in their classes to develop good backgrounds to the subjects that they have chosen and begin to engage with their learning.

Working hard and persevering when things are difficult is something that we will focus on in the year to come. Students need to use their time to further establish good study skills. Positive engagement in their classes should enable them to complete their holiday homework and come back to school next year ready to focus and to be their very best.
