VCAL Showcase

On 30 August, the Year 12 VCAL students delivered their Showcase Evening. Each student presented their individual project with enthusiasm and confidence. They highlighted the learning that had taken place across the year. The topics were varied, and each student treated the audience to a detailed review of their chosen area. It was gratifying to note the positive atmosphere in the Meeting Room that evening. Teachers, parents, extended family members and friends, were enormously proud of the students’ achievements. It was a wonderful celebration!

Enrichment Day

Coca-Cola Factory Excursion

Recently, the VCAL students enjoyed visiting the Coca-Cola Factory in Moorabbin. The students were split in two groups. Half of the students participated in a tour of the factory floor where they saw one of the largest conveyor belts in the Southern Hemisphere! The other half listened to the floor manager and the Human Resources Manager discuss their roles. After a brief break, they swapped over. It was a fabulous day! 

Braeside Park

As a way of celebrating the end of the recent Enrichment Day, students had fabulous time participating in a lovely long walk through Braeside Park. This was followed by a scavenger hunt and a shared picnic.
