Student Reflection

On Tuesday 26 July, some Year 9 and 10 students participated in SCSA Volleyball. The SCSA Intermediate teams that participated in the tournament were the Intermediate A team who made it to the semi-finals and the Intermediate B team, who won the grand final! The day consisted of lots of fun and made for an amazing opportunity for the Year 9 and 10 students to utilise some of their amazing volleyball skills.

The SCSA Volleyball competition allowed students to engage in teamwork, sportsmanship, and most of all, have lots of fun! It was an extremely enjoyable day, and we are so glad we were able to partake in the SCSA Volleyball.

Champions Cup Basketball

On Tuesday 2 August, the Intermediate Basketball team participated in the U17 Champions Cup competition at the State Basketball Centre. The competition sees the best schools in the state play-off against each other for a place in the ‘Elite Eight’ tournament. While our students didn’t qualify for the next round, they did play their hearts out and took it right up to their opposition! With many members of the team still eligible to play in the U17 competition next year, this experience for these girls was invaluable.
