Principal’s Report
Congratulations and best wishes to the Class of 2023!
As our Year 12 students approach their final classes at Kilbreda College and Graduation next week, it is a time of reflection and anticipation for the students themselves, staff who have taught and supported them over the years and of course their parents and family.
The Class of 2023 has been a wonderful group. From their very first days as nervous Year 7s, they have shown us not only their dedication and commitment to their education but have also embraced our College motto of Strength and Kindliness. They have contributed to our school community in countless ways, whether through academic accomplishments, sports, arts, leadership roles, or community service. Their presence has enriched our school, and they have set an excellent example for younger students to follow.
Our Year 12 Student Leadership Team, led by College Co-Captains Rachel Jones and Sienna Koop, have been outstanding in their leadership and commitment to our College this year. They have lived out our College values and demonstrated to all what it means to act with strength and kindliness. On behalf of the Kilbreda community I thank them for their dedication to their role, the many activities and events that they led or contributed to and for always supporting and encouraging their fellow students to be their best.
The Class of 2023 are at the threshold of a world filled with endless possibilities, where they will have the chance to shape their own futures. It is an exciting but perhaps also slightly daunting time for them as they prepare for life beyond Kilbreda.
We greatly look forward to acknowledging and celebrating their achievements and the wonderful young individuals they have become at our College Assembly, Year 12 Breakfast, and the Year 12 Graduation Mass next week. I wish every Year 12 student all the very best for their upcoming examinations, interviews and/or commencement of new courses of study or employment and look forward to seeing what they achieve in the weeks, months, and years ahead!
Congratulations Class of 2023! May your future be filled with success, happiness, and fulfillment. We are immensely proud of each and every one of you.

A Prayer for our Year 12 Students
Lord,
We thank you for the incredible journey our Year 12 students have undertaken, for the knowledge
they have gained, the friendships they have formed, and the challenges they have overcome.
We ask that you fill their hearts with a sense of accomplishment and pride for the hard work and dedication they have displayed throughout their school years.
As they approach the culmination of this phase of their education, we pray that you grant them
wisdom and clarity in their decisions regarding their future.
May they have the courage to pursue their dreams and the perseverance to overcome obstacles
that may come their way.
As they prepare to leave the safety of their school years and venture into the world, we ask for your protection. Watch over them, grant them the resilience to navigate life’s challenges, and inspire them
to be beacons of hope and positive change in their communities.
Amen.
