Request for Community Assistance – Year 10 Mock Interviews

One of the most important components of the employment process is being able to succeed in a job interview. This takes time, effort and practise to do well. The aim of the Year 10 Mock Interviews is to empower our students to gain confidence in answering questions, develop an awareness of the social-emotional skills required in an interview, connect with our wider-school Community as well as the role models in our community and allow students to engage and reflect on their future career pathways as a result.

In order to facilitate this process we are asking for any parents or other community members to volunteer a couple of hours to conduct these interviews with our students. The interviews will be conducted on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 June at the College. Volunteers will be required for 1 to 2 hours between 10.00am until 12.30pm, with each interview and feedback time lasting for 30 minutes. Volunteers will be required to have a Working with Children Check.

If you would like to be involved and feel you can assist students in developing these important life skills, please contact the Development Office at marketing@kilbreda.vic.edu.au Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
