Kilbreda College Community Breakfasts

Each year the College hosts three Community Breakfasts celebrating International Women’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and because they are so well supported by families, they sell out quickly! Unfortunately, that does mean that many members of our community miss out on these events due to the limited capacity in the Mary Dalton Hall.

In the interests of fairness and equity for all, priority access to tickets for particular year levels for each Community Breakfast is implemented at Kilbreda. For each Breakfast event, two Year Levels will be offered priority access to tickets via a pre-sale period of 48 hours before they go on sale to the community. The allocation will be as follows:

International Women’s Day Breakfast – Families of Year 9 and 11 students
Mother’s Day Breakfast – Families of Year 7 and 12 students
Father’s Day Breakfast – Families of Year 8 and 10 students

This will ensure that each student will have greater opportunity to attend each event twice during their six years at the College. For each event, after a set time any remaining tickets will be made available to families of other year levels.

Families that have daughters in multiple year levels can book for events relevant to their daughters’ year levels. For example, in 2024 if you have a daughter in Year 7 and Year 9 you can book the Women’s Day Breakfast with both daughters and the Mother’s Day Breakfast with both daughters.

International Women’s Day Breakfast – Tuesday 5 March

Shortly, invitations for our International Women’s Day Breakfast for Tuesday 5 March will go on sale. All families of Year 9 and 11 students will receive an email with details regarding the pre-sale period. If tickets are still available after this period, all other families will receive details on how to book for the event.
