Brigidine Day – Wellsprings for Women

The build up to Brigidine Day is on right now! All year levels are busy organising fundraising stalls and coordinating rosters. Donations are coming in as well, whether it be chocolate bars for the ‘choc toss’, lollies for the lolly bags or items for the popular raffle, they all contribute to the $10,000 target we have set. Everyone, students and staff, are encouraged to join the STRAVA challenge as well.

This year, the funds raised will be donated to Wellsprings for Women. Located in Dandenong, Wellsprings was founded by the Presentation Sisters and now comes under the banner of Kildare Ministries. The centre offers services, supports and programs for women to improve education, employment, health and wellbeing and to live life safely and free from violence. Money raised will help to develop these programs that will assist vulnerable women in their search for a better life.

Happy Boxes

Our Year 10 to12 ‘Happy Box’ (bag) drive will end soon. Many of the bags are brimming with sanitary items destined for young Indigenous women in remote areas. Keep the items coming in. The bags will be collected and sent next week.
