A big thank you once again for supporting Caritas’ Project Compassion last term. The concert and raffle draw during the last week of term one were a huge success!

Term 2 event planning is well under way with our leaders. Activities for Reconciliation Week, Refugee Week and the BASP Winter Food Drive are high on the agenda. Selected Year 9 and 10 students will have the opportunity to attend a Kildare Ministries student seminar in Echuca with a focus on Indigenous culture, a great way to prepare for Reconciliation and NAIDOC week.

Next week, will see the commencement of this year’s Building Bridges program. This program gives students the opportunity to visit schools and interact with students of different religious backgrounds within our district. These include The King David School (Jewish) and Mt Hira (Islamic). There are still places for any Year 11 sudent who would like to be a part of this amazing experience.
