Learning and Teaching
As we approach the final weeks of Semester 2, there are several important updates and achievements to share across the College. A reminder that Headstart will commence for all students on 24 November.
Exam Timetable Released
The Semester 2 exam timetable for Years 9 to 11 will be released to students this week. We encourage all students to check their schedule carefully and begin preparing early. A few helpful revision tips include:
- Plan ahead: Create a study timetable that breaks revision into manageable chunks.
- Practise actively: Use past papers, quizzes and flashcards to strengthen understanding.
- Look after wellbeing: Maintain healthy routines with balanced sleep, nutrition and breaks.
- Seek support: Teachers are available to assist with any questions or clarification during revision sessions.
Senior Subject Confirmations
Subject confirmations for Senior students have now been issued. Students wishing to request a subject change have been given access to an electronic form and should submit their requests by the due date. We encourage students to discuss any potential changes with their teachers or the Senior Pathways Team to ensure selections align with their learning goals and post-school aspirations.
Junior Subject Confirmations
Junior subject confirmations will be sent to student emails next week. Due to the breadth of subjects on offer, we cannot accommodate a subject change request within the junior program.
Celebration of Learning – BRIDGES Program
We commend the outstanding work of the BRIDGES team, led by Ms d’Offay, whose dedication and innovation culminated in a wonderful Celebration of Learning Evening last week. This event showcased the creativity, collaboration and growth of our students, highlighting the rich learning experiences made possible through the program. Congratulations to all involved for a truly inspiring conclusion to the BRIDGES journey this year.
