Learning and Teaching

We’re well into Term 3, and it’s been a vibrant and productive time across the school. Below are some recent highlights and a few exciting things coming up.

Recent Highlights

  • Australian Mathematics Competition (4 August): Our keen mathematicians recently put their skills to the test in the annual AMC. We look forward to seeing their results and celebrating their achievements.
  • BRIDGES Program – Veggie Garden Project: Every Monday lunchtime, students in the BRIDGES program have begun working together on our school’s veggie garden. This is a fantastic opportunity for hands-on learning, responsibility and connection with nature.
  • Year 8 Languages Workshop (6 August): Our Year 8 students took part in an engaging workshop focused on language and culture, designed to deepen their appreciation and understanding of the languages they are studying.
  • College Production: The production was a wonderful showcase of student creativity and teamwork, with students from across year levels collaborating on stage and behind the scenes.
  • PISA Testing (14 August): Selected students participated in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), contributing to important insights about learning and educational progress globally.
