2023 – Courage: Speaking and Acting with Integrity

Attending the Year 9 BRIDGES Camp this week has provided me with an opportunity to see students displaying courage in a variety of different ways. Students (and staff) have made the most of the opportunities to try activities that are not part of their normal routine, canoeing, bush dancing and craft, to name a few. Camp also provides an opportunity for students to get to know each other in different circumstances and come to appreciate the many positive qualities of their peers.

The BRIDGES two-day Immersion Program at the College has also provided the opportunity for students to learn about the courage of our Indigenous brothers and sisters, and discover how they can use their voice to speak and act with integrity when relating with others.

Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen. Brene Brown

Scholars of Distinction Assembly

It was wonderful to celebrate with our 2022 Scholars of Distinction at last week’s Assembly. Congratulations, once again, to all 2022 graduates who worked diligently to achieve their results. It is wonderful to celebrate with students and their families and to hear of the wonderful adventures that lie ahead for our graduates.
