Virtual Visit to Rome and Venice

Recently, the Year 10, 11 and 12  Italian classes travelled into the city to experience 360 degree virtual reality. In pairs, they guided each other from Stazione Termini in Rome to the Trevi Fountain, giving directions in Italian.

The Year 11 and 12 classes then diverted to Venice observing the environmental impact of tourism on Venice, which is their topic of learning and discussion for Term 3.

On detour, around the cities, we virtually wandered into St Peter’s Basilica, restaurants, barges, gondolas and bell towers.

French Calendar

In French recently, we have been learning about months of the year, days of the week and French festivals and celebrations. So, in pairs we made a month each and decorated it to form a calendar with  important dates marked on it such as L’anniversaire de Monsieur Smith (le trois septembre), Noel (Christmas) and La Fete des Peres (Father’s Day).
