Year 8 Food Technology

Year 8 Food Technology is off to a great start as we have already made Chocolate Truffles, Fruit Salad and Fattoush Salad, which you can see featured here in the photos.

It looks to be an exciting and happy time with many amazing dishes still to be prepared as the semester unfolds.

Below are some reflections of the year from our Year 8 students.

Fruit Bugs

As part of the Year 8 Food Technology course, students learn about safe use of tools and equipment.

Last week, they focused on the use of knives and made a Fruit Bug which required accurate cutting and careful design of their finished bug. We think their bugs are amazing!
