We were thrilled to hear that two of our exceptional Performing Arts staff and Heads of Production, Nicole Everett and Cara Mitchell have been awarded two commendations from the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria for their work on our 2021 College Production, ‘Matilda the Musical’. Nicole and Cara’s commendations were recognised in the categories of ‘Direction’ and also for ‘Choreography’. Particular students to also acknowledge for their role in receiving the ‘Choreography’ commendation are Choreographic Intern, Olivia W and Dance Captains, Charlotte LW and Ella B. Both Nicole and Cara worked tirelessly on ‘Matilda’ throughout a challenging 2021 facing lockdowns and disappointment with constant rescheduling. Along with their incredible cast, crew and interns, their resilience and determination paid off as our College community finally enjoyed the most wonderful production at the end of 2021. The show ‘did go on’ and it was a testament to all of their hard work. Congratulations Nicole and Cara.
