As seen on TV!! A number of students were in the presence of greatness today with Ryan Evans from LEGOMasters. Our lucky students participated in a full day workshop with Ryan learning techniques and building their own LEGO creations after having applied for this opportunity. Fans of the show will remember Ryan from Season 3 who came third alongside Gabby. They received the ‘brick of doom ‘only to be eliminated in the following challenge and then earnt their spot back in the competition, successfully had several wins and made the finale. Ryan and Gabby appeared in all episodes and hold the record for the most hours building (so far) on the show globally! This is only a sample of the enrichment programs across all areas of the College that allow students to extend their learning beyond the classroom. We thank Ryan for taking the time out of his busy schedule to inspire our future STEM leaders and we thank Learning Leader: Digital Technologies, Adrienne Donoghue for facilitating this unique opportunity.
