Following months and months of rehearsals for ‘Legally Blonde’, a series of over 30 hours’ worth of live performances unfolded, wowing audiences and filling more than 3500 seats! A collaboration between 144 students (plus 18 musicians!) from both our College and St Bede’s College, the production showcased students on and off stage skills, resulting in a show with so much heart. The protagonist, Elle Woods, wins out in the end with her hard work, belief, drive and support from her Delta Nu ‘sisters’. The same could be said about our cast and crew, whose hard work, belief, drive and support from peers ensured they had a wonderful experience during rehearsals and then at show time! Staging college productions is no easy feat and we thank Nicole Everett, Cara Mitchell and Kara-Lee Rabbetts for their dedication and unwavering commitment in bringing ‘Legally Blonde’ to life. They ensured that every student who wanted to contribute to the show had the opportunity to do so and they invested countless hours into making it magical. As we set our sights on 2024, this incredible team already have ideas in the making, we can’t wait to find out what they are!
