Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Patrick (Lá Fhéile Pádraig). With our ties to Ireland through the courageous Brigidine Sisters who inspire us daily, it is a day of great importance to our community. Our Irish Youth Club (Club Óige) Coordinators, Mr Sean Wogan and Ms Maria O’Leary organised the most wonderful day full of celebration and reflection. It was a sight to see with everyone wearing green shamrocks and ribbons. The day began with a St Patrick’s Day Mass followed by a Homeroom service and loads of fun at lunchtime with Irish Dancing, live music, lollipops and a special appearance by Saint Patrick himself! A day to remember!
