Inaugural Careers Expo
Yesterday evening, more than 150 students and families gathered at the College for our inaugural Careers Expo. The event showcased 13 past pupils who shared their personal journeys, inspiring our current students. The speakers came from a wide array of industries and included Graphic Artist, Rose Cimino (Class of 2017), Physiotherapist, Hannah Lindstrom (Class of 2011), Founder of Hunter Markets, Sarah Kokkinos (Class of 2015), Electrician, Lydia Wilson (Class of 2018), Educator, Jessica Clark (Class of 2017) and Track and Civil Engineer, Emily Devlin (Class of 2016) among others. In addition to attending the career sessions, families had the opportunity to explore the expo and engage with representatives from tertiary institutions including ACU, Deakin, Monash and RMIT, who shared information about course offerings and pathways. We hope the night provided inspiration and motivation for goal setting for the future. The possibilities for our current students are endless and one day, we look forward to those students returning to the College to inspire those who come after them.
