Harmony Week

‘Harmony Week’ celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, regardless of their background, united by a set of core Australian values.

In addition to activities during the week, today our students were encouraged to show their support of cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia by wearing an orange ribbon. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

We are incredibly blessed to live in this multicultural country – from the oldest continuous culture of our first Australians to the cultures of our newest arrivals from around the world!
