Year 12 Final Assembly
What an exceptional final assembly for our Class of 2023 today. Led by College Principal, Nicole Mangelsdorf and guided by student host, Aline B, the occasion celebrated our Class of 2023 and their commitment and contribution to our College community since 2018. During her address, Nicole spoke of the limitless opportunities that lie ahead for our graduates. “Your story has only just begun and I have no doubt it will be a tale filled with great success, the love and support of those around you and the realisation of your endless potential”. Other highlights included the recognition of students who have excelled in both the VCE and VCE VM, who were honoured with Academic Achievement and Endeavour awards. We also acknowledged recipients of awards including Australian Defence Force awards and the Catherine Arlove sport award. Our current College Co-Captains, Sienna Koop and Rachel Jones led the commissioning ceremony for the 2024 Co-Captains and delivered their final address. This dynamic duo will be remembered for living out the College values and always supporting fellow students in reaching their potential. The musical talents of Year 12 pianists, Sarah and Sophie Bloomer shone with their outstanding piano duet and there wasn’t a dry eye in the Hall when Rachel and Sienna performed ‘For Good’. “But I know I’m who I am today because I knew you” sums up the bonds made by the Class of 2023, friends for life! We look forward to celebrating with them all at their Celebration Day tomorrow.
