Today we farewelled our Class of 2022 and after the last couple of years it was so wonderful to celebrate with them over the last fortnight. From dressing up as “what they want to be when they leave the College’ and celebrating at their breakfast and student-led assembly this morning, to tying their blessed ribbons to the Oak Tree, participating in their final formal Assembly and gathering to acknowledge Student Leaders at a lunch yesterday, they have shared many moments reflecting on their secondary school journey. Another highlight was the Homeroom Morning Teas, where students stepped back in time and gathered in their Year 7 Homeroom groups with former classmates and teachers whilst enjoying a delicious morning tea. Here they opened their time capsules, notes from others and themselves, which stirred up emotions and provided many laughs. What an amazing group of students our Class of 2022 are. Whilst they exited through the Guard of Honour today and outside the gates of Kilbreda, they will forever remain in our hearts and we keep them in our thoughts as they prepare for their exams.
