Congratulations to our Intermediate and Senior Basketball teams who are Division 1 Secondary Catholic Sports Association Champions! The Intermediates went through the day undefeated and played great team basketball to defeat Avila (47-17) in the Grand Final with Ella W named ‘Best Player’ in the Grand Final. The Senior team who were coached by Australian Opal and Perth Lynx WNBL Captain Darcee Garbin, were also undefeated throughout the day, defeating Mater Christi (35-11) in the Grand Final with Maya D named as the ‘Best Player’ in the Grand Final. Congratulations to all players – teamwork really does make the dream work!
