Brigidine Day

On the final day of Term 3, the College community came together for our annual Brigidine Day to celebrate the work and devotion of the Brigidine Sisters and the gift of their ongoing presence amongst us. Always a highly-anticipated event on the College calendar, celebrating the day in person after so long was incredibly special for everyone involved. We shared moments to reflect and be grateful during our Mass, congratulate our peer-nominated Brigid Award recipients at assembly and have a whole lot of fun at our carnival. From rides, a petting zoo, sweet treats and festival face paint, there was something for everyone to enjoy (a few teachers were also ‘dunked’ along the way!)

All money raised will go towards supporting ‘Wellsprings for Women’, a local centre offering support for women to improve education, employment, health and wellbeing. The much-needed funds will assist in developing programs for vulnerable women in their search for a better life and the opportunity to live safely and free from violence.
