Following our Mass on Brigidine Day, we awarded our Brigid Awards for those who consistently live out our motto and values. We also presented our 2024 College Co-Captains. We again congratulate all award recipients and look forward to collaborating with Alicia and Lola next year. We then embarked on our ‘Walk for a Cause’, the primary fundraising activity for our chosen charity, Saltbush – Balnarring Beach. The conditions were perfect, with much-appreciated sunshine on the 5km bayside beach walk, concluding at the College where we enjoyed a BBQ. Along with the money raised for the walk, our silent auction and with proceeds earnt on the day, we are incredibly proud of the generous donation we are making to Saltbush. Throughout the day, Brigid’s Place was the central hub and a hive of activity featuring cake stalls, carnival games and the sweet sounds of our Senior Ensemble. The mat-ball challenge was popular as always and the Gelati Van provided refreshing treats. The day culminated in performances by the student-led KDC and the highly anticipated Lip-Sync Battle. Centred around class themes, each year level put on quite the performance from Barbie to Minions and a wave of nostalgia. We extend gratitude to the numerous staff and students who collaborated for months to bring us this amazing day.
