Appointment of Assistant Principal: Learning and Teaching

Following an extensive search and a highly competitive selection process, we are delighted to share with our Kilbreda College community that Ms Stephanie Murphy has been appointed as Assistant Principal: Learning and Teaching, due to commence in this role at the beginning of Term 3 2025.

Stephanie is currently Director of Innovation at Padua College and has previously served as Acting Co-Vice Principal: Learning and Teaching and Assistant Head of Campus (Learning and Pedagogy) at Padua’s Mornington Junior Campus. She brings extensive experience in curriculum design, pedagogical innovation, and staff development, with a proven record of leading whole-school initiatives that integrate student voice, teacher expertise, and future-focused learning.

Stephanie is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of education to build confidence, resilience and purpose in young people. She is thrilled to be joining the Kilbreda community and looks forward to working alongside staff, students, and families to inspire the next generation of learners and leaders, ensuring every young person is supported to reach their potential.

Her leadership is characterised by warmth, an engaging presence, and a collaborative spirit, balancing visionary thinking with research-informed practice. She is deeply committed to fostering critical thinking, digital literacy, and the collaborative skills students need to thrive in a complex world.
