How proud we all were to see our aspiring AFL Umpires at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday 24 April. These hard-working students recently gave up their time over a number of weeks to undertake the ‘AFL Umpiring Course’ at the College. It was the perfect opportunity to debut their new skills learnt throughout the program as they umpired the AFL ‘Auskickers’ at the huge Richmond Tigers versus Melbourne Demons match! We look forward to watching their umpiring career blossom and hope to see them umpiring at a local level, and perhaps even one day, at the AFL Grand Final! Congratulations Jacinta C – Year 8, Sian F, Lily PN, Amelia P and Teagan J – Year 9 and Elizabeth P – Year 10.
