Staff Reflection and Review – Term 4

Throughout Term 4, every staff member is participating in an annual reflection and review meeting with their designated reviewer. These conversations provide an opportunity to celebrate individual achievements, reflect on professional growth and plan future goals.

A key focus of these discussions has been the College’s Strategic Plan, particularly the goals that guide our mission and daily practice such as bringing the Gospel to life, celebrating diversity, inspiring action for justice and strengthening reconciliation.

Staff have also been engaging in action research projects, both individually and within their learning domains, focusing on areas for improvement and strategies to enhance teaching and learning. Evaluating the outcomes of these projects and their impact on student learning forms an important part of the review process.

Finally, each review includes a discussion of staff professional learning and future aspirations, ensuring the College continues to support and develop the skills and capabilities of all team members.

I have been privileged to meet with staff this term and discuss the important work they are undertaking to continually enhance their practice and ensure the best outcomes for their students.
