Year 10

Celebrating Exams and Looking Ahead to Futures Week

We would like to extend our congratulations to all Year 10 students on the successful completion of their Semester 1 examinations. This assessment period marks an important milestone in their academic journey, and we commend them for the focus, resilience and maturity they demonstrated throughout.

As we approach the end of Term 2, we are excited to launch Futures Week, a tailored program designed to support students in making informed decisions about their future learning and career pathways. Running from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July, Futures Week will offer a rich variety of experiences to encourage reflection, exploration and goal setting.

The program includes:

  • Day 1: Year Level Reflection Day
A day for students to pause and reflect on their personal growth, learning habits and aspirations, while also building a positive and supportive cohort culture.
  • Day 2: University and TAFE Tours
Students will visit a range of tertiary institutions to experience campus life, hear about study options, and begin to consider the post-secondary options available to them.
  • Day 3: VCE/VM Subject Testers
A hands-on opportunity for students to sample a variety of VCE and Vocational Major subjects to help them make confident, well-informed subject selections for Year 11.
  • Days 4 and 5: Future Pathways Interviews
Students will take part in one-on-one interviews to discuss their individual goals and explore suitable pathways. These are asynchronous learning days, meaning students are not required at school outside of their scheduled interview.

We look forward to an engaging and inspiring week that encourages each student to consider who they are becoming and how they wish to shape their future.

Thank you for your continued support.
