Messages of Support

Over the last fortnight, most Year 12 students across Victoria have gathered together for fun and celebration as they end their secondary school journey. Our peers and colleagues at fellow Kildare Ministries’ School, St Joseph’s College Echuca, were banding together for a different reason, to sandbag locations on both sides of the Murray River to try and protect their twin towns. Torrential weather is set to continue over the weekend and these students are already facing a challenging time with impending exams. So how can we help?

Living Justice Leader, Mrs Trish Moloney reached out to St Joseph’s and has organised a number of support messages from our students to give them a much needed boost. Sometimes it is the simplest things that have the most impact. Just a sample of the many messages Trish received include Chloe’s best wishes – “Hey Year 12s. Congratulations on graduating high school!! Despite the unforgiving circumstances at the moment, keep your heads high, stay strong and keep safe. Best of luck with your exams.”

St Joseph’s are a perfect example of community spirit as they rally together to support one another and the wider community. We keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
