Yesterday, we warmly welcomed the newest members of our Kilbreda community, 174 Year 7 students along with their families! This was significant moment for everyone. They began the day with familiarising themselves with their Homerooms and connecting with their peers, followed by their first year level Assembly. In Period 4 they began their first timetabled classes, a milestone for each of them. Recognising the importance of a smooth transition, our dedicated Homeroom teachers and Wellbeing team are committed to fostering relationships and providing the necessary tools for our Year 7 students to thrive. Navigating the College grounds can at times be challenging and we are grateful to have the support from 10 students from the Class of 2023 who have returned to participate in our Big Sister program, offering additional guidance. 2024 promises excitement and we encourage all students to embrace the opportunities within and beyond the classroom, ensuring they make the most of their time at the College.
