Welcome Back to Term 2, Year 7

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope all our Year 7 families enjoyed a restful break and that students are feeling refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning, growth and connection.

It has been fantastic to see how positively our Year 7 cohort has returned to school. Students have settled quickly back into routines, demonstrating the values of being responsible, respectful and resilient in their classrooms and around the school. This strong start sets a great tone for the term ahead.

A particular highlight was our recent House Athletics Carnival. The participation rate from Year 7 was truly spectacular, and it was wonderful to see so many students getting involved, supporting one another and embracing the day with enthusiasm. Whether competing in events, cheering from the sidelines, or stepping outside their comfort zone to give something new a go, our Year 7s represented themselves and the College with pride. It was a fantastic display of house spirit and community.

Looking ahead, we have another exciting whole-cohort event coming up:

Tuesday 19 May – the House Fun Run at Karakarook Park. We encourage all students to get involved and continue showing the same enthusiasm and house spirit.

As we move through Term 2, we encourage students to continue building on this positive momentum – staying organised, maintaining strong learning habits and making the most of all opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
