Year 12

It’s been a big few weeks for our Year 12 students. With the many SACs and assessment tasks occurring around this time, many have had to balance their studies, work and social lives at a new level. The countdown is on to the final exams; what better is there to do in the colder weather, but bunker down in a warm environment and study?

This Wednesday our VCE and VM students had the opportunity to experience exam conditions and the format of the GAT (General Achievement Test). The practice GAT provided a great opportunity to receive feedback and to better prepare for the all-important GAT on 17 June.

Thursday was filled with excitement as the year level celebrated the distribution of the long-awaited hoodies! Squeals and laughter filled the Hall as they checked each other’s nicknames. It was a highlight for many. Everyone was also encouraged to bring a food item for BASP (Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project) to exchange at the time of receiving their hoodie. The generosity displayed will be very much appreciated by those in need.

As Semester 1 draws to a close, we congratulate all the VCE and VM students on what has been achieved so far. One semester to go. Wow, how time flies!
