House Fun Run

The House Fun Run for Years 7 and 8 was a wonderful celebration of energy, enthusiasm and school spirit. It was fantastic to see such strong participation from both year levels, with students embracing the opportunity to come together, support their Houses and enjoy a healthy sense of competition. The atmosphere on the day reflected real community pride, with students encouraging one another and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship throughout the event. Congratulations to all students who participated and to our award recipients for their excellent efforts and achievements. A sincere thank you is extended to Mrs Maree Clarke and Miss Julia Smith for their outstanding organisation and leadership on the day, which ensured the event ran so smoothly and was enjoyed by all.

Year 9 Learn to Dance Sessions and Social

The Year 9 Social was a fun-filled evening that marked the culmination of our Learn to Dance series, bringing together students from St Bede’s and Kilbreda. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect socially, strengthen new friendships and enjoy time together in a relaxed and inclusive setting. A big thank you is extended to Mrs Kylie Carroll and all staff who assisted on the night for their support in making the event such a success. Congratulations to all Year 9 students for their enthusiasm, willingness to participate and for making the evening such an enjoyable celebration.

The Wellbeing Distillery

Our ongoing partnership with The Wellbeing Distillery continues to play an important role in shaping a whole-school approach to wellbeing. This work is helping us to thoughtfully reflect on current practices and strengthen the way we support the wellbeing of all students across the College. Through a collaborative and evidence-informed process, we are gaining valuable insights that will guide our future direction and ensure our approach remains responsive, intentional and aligned with the needs of our community.

A sincere thank you is extended to the parents, students, teachers and staff who are generously participating in our focus group discussions. Your voices are vital in helping us build a clear and authentic understanding of the lived experience within our school. Alongside the Wellbeing Compass Survey, this feedback will provide a comprehensive picture of our strengths and areas for growth and will directly inform our wellbeing strategy and future priorities.
