Wellbeing and Engagement
Welcome back to what promises to be another exciting term. We hope you and your child enjoyed a restful and refreshing Easter break, filled with time to recharge and connect.
As the new term begins, we look forward to the many opportunities ahead for growth and learning. A new term brings a fresh start, and we are excited to continue supporting each student’s academic progress and personal development as they move forward in their learning journey.
This term, we also continue to strengthen our whole-school approach to restorative practices. Our focus remains on building and maintaining positive relationships, fostering accountability and supporting students to learn from their experiences in a respectful and constructive way.
PB4L / Restorative Practice
As part of this ongoing work, we are introducing a set of Restorative Principles, developed in alignment with our core values. These principles will serve as a consistent foundation for our conversations with students, staff and families, ensuring a shared understanding of expectations and a common language when addressing challenges.
They will be referred to at the beginning of restorative conversations, guiding all parties to reflect, take responsibility and work towards repairing relationships. We look forward to embedding these principles across the College and continuing to nurture a culture grounded in respect, empathy and growth.

The Wellbeing Distillery
Families play a vital role in shaping a school’s wellbeing culture. As part of our ongoing partnership with The Wellbeing Distillery, we invite parents and carers to complete The Wellbeing Compass Parent and Carers survey – a 10 – 15 minute anonymous and confidential survey that explores how connected, informed and supported families feel in promoting their child’s wellbeing.
The survey has been co-designed by Adelaide University’s WiLDlab, Resilient Youth Australia and The Wellbeing Distillery. All responses are anonymous, with data securely stored on Adelaide University’s institutional servers in line with university data protection protocols.
This survey is fully non-identifiable. All parents and carers use the same access code, so there is no way to link any response back to an individual family. That is intentional – it protects your privacy and gives you the freedom to share your honest perspective, which is what makes the findings genuinely useful for strengthening the school-home partnership.
Your insights will help strengthen communication, connection, and collaboration between home and school. Once the data has been analysed, we’ll share a summary of the findings with our community.
Thank you for partnering with wellbeing for wellbeing – your perspective is essential in ensuring our shared efforts make a meaningful and lasting difference.
