Mother’s Day Breakfast 2026

Our College community gathered to celebrate the incredible mothers – and all those who play nurturing and supportive roles in our lives – at our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast.

The theme, “Celebrating Mums: The Heart of Every Home,” was beautifully reflected throughout the morning. Year 12 students Grace and Lily shared heartfelt reflections on “The Many Forms of Motherhood” and “The Strength Behind the Everyday.”

Our keynote speaker, Angela Nolan (Class of 1986), captivated the audience as she reflected on her journey from Kilbreda student to Group Chief Executive Officer of Mercy Health. Speaking with honesty and warmth, Angela shared the challenges and unexpected opportunities that shaped her career, alongside the realities of balancing leadership and motherhood. Her message encouraged students to embrace opportunities, learn from setbacks and pursue work that brings purpose and meaning.

A heartfelt thank you to our Wellbeing Team for coordinating such a special event, to Vida Y (Year 11) for her beautiful flute performance, and to the Kilbreda Chorale for their lively rendition of Meghan Trainor’s “Mom”.

We hope all our mums, carers and daughters enjoyed a truly memorable morning together.
