FINANCE OFFICER – Kilbreda College
Kilbreda College, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team.
About the Role
As a key member of the Finance team, you oversee a range of tasks, with your primary focus being the College payroll. Other responsibilities include supporting the Finance Manager, and working closely and collaboratively with the finance team to ensure all practices are completed effectively and efficiently, reflective of the values of Catholic education in the Brigidine tradition.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Preparing and processing the fortnightly payroll ensuring accordance with the Agreement and Single Touch payroll requirements
- Overseeing the management of staff leave, including Personal, Long Service and Parental Leave payment processing and record keeping
- Liaising with College Bankers and College Auditors to ensure all requirements are met
- ATO liaison, FBT return calculation, WorkCover liaison and WGEA reporting with the support of the Finance Manager
- Supporting the Finance Team as required with month end reconciliations, debtor follow ups and payment of suppliers.
This role suits someone who is experienced in payroll and associated tasks, who is looking to extend their experience into general accounting and financial matters. Whilst not essential, appropriate tertiary qualifications are desirable.
