This week our College community gathered in the Mary Dalton Hall for our 2026 Commencement Eucharist, a meaningful opportunity to reflect on this year’s theme, Justice – Making the Needs of the Vulnerable Paramount.

We also marked a very special occasion – the formal commissioning of Ms Stephanie Smyth as Principal of Kilbreda College. This important milestone in the life of our school brought us together in faith to formally welcome Ms Smyth into her leadership and to honour the traditions and spirit that shape our Kilbreda community.

We extend our sincere thanks to our Chaplain, Father Peter Matheson, for leading the celebration, and warmly congratulate Ms Smyth on her commissioning. We were also pleased to welcome the Brigidine Sisters, representatives of Kildare Ministries, and other special guests who joined us for this significant moment.
