Subject Selections

Year 9 students have reached an exciting milestone, having completed their Year 10 Subject Selections for 2027 at the beginning of Term 3. Students have also now been notified if they have been offered an accelerated VCE subject for next year. These opportunities recognise students’ commitment to their learning and provide an excellent foundation as they begin planning for their senior years. We encourage all students to continue exploring their interests, embracing new challenges and developing the skills that will support their future pathways.

Pastoral Program

This term, our Year 9 cohort also had the privilege of hearing from the Pat Cronin Foundation. Through Pat’s story, students were reminded of the devastating consequences that can result from a single act of violence and the importance of making positive choices. The presentation focused on respect, empathy, courage and standing up for others, encouraging students to consider the impact their actions can have on those around them. It was a powerful and thought-provoking session that aligned strongly with our College values and our commitment to fostering respectful relationships.

Extra-Curricular Activities

It has been wonderful to see so many Year 9 students representing Kilbreda with pride across a range of sporting competitions this term, including basketball, volleyball and netball. Thank you to all students who have embraced these opportunities and represented the College with enthusiasm, teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship. Your willingness to contribute to the wider life of the College is something we are incredibly proud of.
