CGSAV Football

The CGSAV Football competition took place at Royal Park on Thursday 11 June in beautiful conditions. Across a full day of competition, our students displayed outstanding determination, grit and spirit in every match. Their willingness to support one another, work cohesively as a team and maintain a positive attitude throughout the day was commendable.

Regardless of the results, students embraced every challenge, showed respect for their opponents and officials and represented the school values with distinction. We congratulate all players on their effort, commitment and enthusiasm.

State All Schools Cross Country Championships

On Saturday 20 June, Teagan S (Year 9) represented Kilbreda at the State All Schools Cross Country Championships at Bundoora Park. Teagan finished in 26th place with a time of 17 minutes 15 seconds for her 4km race. Teagan was the only athlete competing from Kilbreda. Congratulations to Teagan for this outstanding achievement.

CGSAV Badminton

Our Badminton teams also recently competed in the CGSAV Badminton competition at MSAC on Tuesday 23 June. Throughout the day, students showcased impressive skill, focus and sportspersonship while competing against strong opposition.

The players demonstrated excellent teamwork and resilience, supporting one another both on and off the court. Their preparation and commitment were evident in their performances, and they should be proud of the way they represented the school.

Term 2 Reflection

Our students have continued to represent the school with pride through their participation in recent CGSAV sporting events, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and resilience.

We extend our thanks to all staff, coaches and families for their ongoing support of our co-curricular sporting programs and congratulate all students involved on their efforts and achievements across Term 2.

As we look ahead to Term 3, we are excited for another busy season of sport, with students set to participate in a range of competitions and events. These opportunities provide valuable experiences for students to develop their skills, build connections and demonstrate teamwork, resilience and school spirit. We encourage all students to get involved and look forward to supporting our teams as they continue to represent the school with strength and kindliness.
