Celebration of Achievement Evening 2025
On Thursday night we held our 2025 ’Celebration of Academic Achievement Evening’. We honoured the academic excellence of our highest-achieving students from Years 7 to 11, recognising those who were placed in the top 5% of their cohort and announced the highest academic achiever in each year level. Additionally, we celebrated a student from each year level who embody our College values, demonstrate outstanding determination and make significant contributions to our school community.
We were honoured to welcome back Laura Mitchell, a former College Captain and proud Kilbreda graduate as our keynote speaker. Her advice to the students was “As you look to the future … whatever path you choose after school – make sure it is something that ignites your passion and truly matters to you. Because when challenges arise – and they will – you can return to “why?” and find the strength, purpose and resilience to keep going. Remember kindness and acceptance of yourself are extremely important, and just like your achievements, are worth celebrating.”
We congratulate all students who were recognised and the award recipients on their dedication and commitment to their studies this year. For all details about the recipients, see https://www.kilbreda.vic.edu.au/community/college-awards/college-awards-2/
