Celebrating Excellence – Premier’s VCE Award

We are absolutely delighted to share that Neve Lamb, Class of 2025 and College Dux, has been recognised with a Premier’s Award for her outstanding achievement in Health and Human Development.

Neve was a hardworking and dedicated student who approached her studies with curiosity, purpose, and a deep love of learning. She thrived on the opportunity to engage in rich discussion and thoughtful reflection, and we are thrilled to see her continuing this journey at Monash University.

We also acknowledge Natalie Burke, Neve’s Health and Human Development teacher, whose commitment to curriculum renewal has ensured that Health Education at Kilbreda – from Year 7 through to Year 12 – is meaningful, relevant, and responsive to the lives of our young people. Natalie’s tireless work and deep care for her students exemplify the dedication of our staff and the values we hold dear.

“It was such a privilege to teach Neve. She was committed to her studies and always striving to improve. To see her get rewarded for her effort with such a prestigious award was just incredible. Neve’s studies at university are providing her with amazing opportunities, but it’s so nice to know that what she learnt in Health and Human Development is playing a part in her further studies, while she undertakes a Bachelor of Science – Global Studies at Monash University.” – Natalie Burke

Together, Neve and Natalie remind us of the power of great teaching and inspired learning.
